One can expect to embark on a trial filled with breathtakingly stunning scenery and a mountainous terrain unlike any other – changing from lush green farmland, dense forest, and glistening blue fast-flowing rivers to the barren land and glacial pools the higher you climb.
Being one of the most famous trekking destinations in the world, the Everest Base Camp trek commences in Nepal and brings forth spectacular views making the trek a lifechanging experience.

DAY 1 - Kathmandu Arrival
- Arrival in Kathmandu and greeted by our representative at the airport.
- Transfers to your hotel in Thamel and you will be provided with your rental gear at the hotel.
- Our Guide will brief the group in the evening before you are free to do any last-minute shopping.
DAY 2 - Phakding
- An early morning flight from Kathmandu if weather permits will take us to Lukla. It is the gateway to Everest Region and the flight alone will give you the chills.
- Meet our support staff at the airport and head to the lodge for Lunch. Porters divide their loads and we start our trek.
- An easy 2 Hour trek, mostly downhill will take us to the town of Phakding. We stay here for the night as it is on a lower altitude than Lukla and provides much needed time for acclimatization
- Trek- 2 hours
- Highest Altitude - 2860m
- Phakding Altitude- 2610m
DAY 3 - Namche Bazar
- After your first night in the Himalayas, the real journey begins. A climb of around 3 hours will take us to Monjo where we officially enter Sagarmatha National Park.
- A downhill walks for around an hour before we reach the banks of the Dhudh Kosi river.
- A constant uphill trek of around 3 hours after lunch and you will reach Namche Bazar, which is the biggest town in the Solu Khumbu area.
- The trek goes through forests and offers amazing views of Thamserku and other nearby mountains. If you are lucky, you will get to see Everest today.
- Trek- 7 Hours
- Highest Altitude- 3440m
- Namche Bazar Altitude-3440
DAY 4 - Rest Day
- Today will be a rest day but you will still be asked to trek for around 2 hours.
- Firstly, we will go to Everest Viewpoint to watch the highest mountain on earth.
- Afterwards, we will go to Everest view hotel, again to view Everest but this time with the company of hot tea.
- This short hike will help your body to acclimatize to the low oxygen levels.
- Trek- 2-3 Hours
- Max Altitude- 3880m
- Namche Bazar Altitude-3440 m
DAY 5 - Tengboche
- Day 5 will take you from Namche to Tengboche. You will walk on mostly leveled and downhill paths for around 3 hours till we stop for lunch.
- The trail offers amazing views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam.
- After lunch, it is a brutal 3-hour uphill trek to Tengboche. Pay your respects at the monastery and move on to the nearby village of Deboche for an overnight stay
- Trek- 6-7 Hours
- Max altitude- 3860 m
- Debuche Altitude- 3820m
DAY 6 - Dingboche
- An easy start to the day before we ascend to Pangboche and enter 4000m. A short walk along the moraine before a steep climb to Dingboche.
- Tomorrow is a rest day and should be utilized to listen to Mr. Dorjee telling his Everest climb stories.
- Trek- 6 Hours
- Highest Altitude- 4410m
- Dingboche Altitude- 4410m
DAY 7 - Dingboche Rest Day
- Rest day today.
- People who are acclimatized can relax and enjoy hot showers and read a book. Maybe do some laundry.
- Trekkers who have not acclimated well so far will go to a viewpoint at around 5000m. The viewpoint offers amazing views of Ama Dablam And Makalu.
- Trek- 2-3 Hours
- Highest Altitude- 5000m
- Dingboche Altitude- 4410m
DAY 8 - Lobuche
- An easy day today, distance-wise but the high altitudes just makes every step difficult.
- We start with a short but difficult climb from Dingboche and walk for a couple of hours on the moraine. We stop for lunch before a 2-hour climb to the memorial site.
- The memorial site is in honor of all the climbers who died while climbing Everest.
- An hour of the easy walk will bring you to Lobuche. Layer up on the last stretch to Lobuche as it gets very windy.
- Trek- 6 Hours
- Highest Altitude- 4990m
- Lobuche Altitude- 4990m
DAY 9 - Everest Base Camp
- The penultimate day is here where all your hard work will pay off and you will reach the base of Everest.
- An easy 2-3 hour trek will take you to Gorak Shep. Drop off your bags, fill up your water bottle, carry an extra jacket and lights and we are off to Everest Base Camp.
- Another 2-3 hour trek and you reach your goal. Spend around 45 mins on the base camp to admire the mountains around you and the mighty Khumbu Icefall before it's time to say goodbye and head back to Gorak Shep.
- Trek- 7-8 Hours
- Highest Altitude- 5364m
- Gorak Shep Altitude- 5164 m
DAY 10 - Pheriche
- Early morning start to the day as we leave at about 4:30 from Gorak shep to climb Kala Pathar. The top offers amazing views of Everest with the sunrise.
- Return to Gorak shep for breakfast and trek down to Pheriche. We follow the same path to the lunch spot of day 8 and then take a right towards Pheriche. The walk to Pheriche from this point is probably the most beautiful of the whole trek.
- Trek- 11 Hours
- Max Altitude- 5550m
- Pheriche Altitude- 4371m
DAY 11 - Namche Bazar
- Another long day today, we cover around 17-18 km. Most of it’s downhill with a small uphill section just before Namche Bazar.
- A bittersweet moment of entering civilization again.
- Your alcohol ban for the trek is up now and you can have a quiet one to celebrate your journey.
- Trek- 11 Hours
DAY 12 - Lulka
- A relatively easy day today, We descend to Kosi river and then climb for around 3 hours to Lukla.
- You will feel like an expert and would offer advice on your way to people starting their trek for EBC.
- The nostalgia takes over when you reach Lukla as you realize, the trek is over and a lifelong dream for some is fulfilled.
- Trek- 7 Hours.
DAY 13 - Kathmandu
- It’s time to say goodbye to the Everest region and bid farewell to our support staff.
- An exciting flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla.
- Check in to your hotel in Thamel and go for a much-needed massage.
- Trek- No trekking today
DAY 14 - Kathmandu Departure
- It’s the end of an adventure and we say final goodbyes to your Guides and Kathmandu staff before you board your flight to your home.
